Christmas Day Makeup
We had an early Christmas Day at the weekend. There was a bit of familial miscommunication and at the time I wasn't;t sure what we’re doing ON THE DAY but since then we’ve decided to do it here and I will cook my first FULL (last year I did everything but the turkey so tips welcome) Christmas Dinner and I have to say, I’m quite looking forward to it! I’ll let you know after the fact how I feel about the dual Christmas celebrations but I suspect it will be a winner moving forward. Both days feel less pressured, both ‘hosts’ get their time to do so and my kids get to stay home on Christmas Day - their preference.
ANYWAY, because I was attending an early Christmas I thought I’d film a little festive GRWM. I must have fallen out of the wrong side of the bed and down the stairs for the mood I woke up in so I was.. irritable to say the least. It’s times like these that cement my belief in the law of attraction. You know when EVERYTHING is going wrong and it’s just one more, one more, one more? I’m not sure if I believe that I’m ATTRACTING those things or just more aware of them but there’s definitely a case to be made for ‘like attracts like’ on those days, isn’t there?
I came home with a migraine that didn’t shift for a full 24hrs (it was Kool n Soothe that fixed me up in the end) so truly, something was amiss. That aside, I told you in the video I’d list everything I used here and give you a little run down of the day and I’m finally getting around to it. I do just want to mention, the lipstick has gone missing (why not pictured) but also wasn't as impressive as I remember. I’m not sure if it’s been reformulated but I have others in that line that wear SO beautifully and this was a bit of a let down so I retract the praise. Perhaps I’ll add ‘find the perfect red lip’ to my 2024 goals so I can share a better one by next Christmas. For now, if anyone can recommend one they love - there's still time before the 25th!
